Using this site

This site is offered for information about Courtney Spencer's book, writing, and speaking. Please don't attempt to disrupt it or use it in a way that breaks the law.

Content and copyright

The text, photographs, book excerpt, wordmark, and design on this site are the property of Courtney Spencer and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote briefly with attribution. Republishing whole pages, the book excerpt, or the images — or using them commercially — requires written permission.

Press and event organizers may use the bios, headshots, and book cover on the press kit page for promotion of an appearance or for coverage, without asking first.

Purchases

Books and merchandise are sold through a separate Shopify store and through Amazon. Orders, payment, shipping, returns and refunds are handled entirely under those services' own terms.

Speaking inquiries

Submitting the inquiry form starts a conversation. It is not a booking, and no engagement exists until it is confirmed in writing on both sides.
